Intel will be retiring their Kaby Lake-X-processors, the i5-7640X and i7-7740X where the outsiders on the X299 platform. That means that ten months after introducing them, both quad-core processors have reached its end of life.
The EOL status notification for Kaby Lake-X is mentioned in Intel's product change notification, report our Dutch colleagues from tweakers. The end of life status of both boxed and tray versions of Kaby Lake-X is reached on May 7th. Suppliers can order copies up to 30 November this year. After that, orders can no longer be created, canceled and returned.

7820xや7800xはさすがに生産続けるだろうがryzenの相手にはならんし
DELLがAPU製品だすのも当たり前に受け止められるようになってintelはますます売り上げ落ちるな
