If Windows 10 isn’t new enough for you or if you'd like to test out some new features soon, it’s now possible to again enroll in the Windows 10 Insider Preview program. While Windows 10 was released to the public on July 29th, it’s far from finished. With the Windows as a service model, Microsoft has plenty to work on for the future including a universal Messaging app as well as many other feature updates. The Windows 10 Insider Preview program allows users to test out features and give feedback to Microsoft.
The folks at WinSuperSite noticed that you are now able to enroll in the preview program and also outline the steps to do so. In the Advanced Options area of the Update and Security settings you can select “Get Insider build.”
The Insider Preview program is a major success story for Windows 10. Five million users utilized the program and that led to massive amounts of feedback for the operating system. With an update on the way later this year, and with major release updates such as Redstone set to arrive in the future, Microsoft is looking to keep up the feedback and response model that yielded positive results in Windows 10.
It’s important to note that Insider Previews are unfinished software and installing them on devices should be done with caution. A line that Microsoft uses is “If… you think an ISO is some kind of yoga pose, this program may not be right for you.”
